  • Read To Succeed!!

Dear Parents and Caregivers, Elkhart Public Library District has received a grant from The Dollar General Literacy Foundation to help support Literacy in the community. The goal of this project is to prevent summer learning loss, raise reading levels of non -readers or struggling readers with small group and one on one activities. Your child will receive access to the reading software” Learning A-Z” during the small group activities, play games centered on phonics, earn incentives and hopefully prepare them for the next school year! We will also be incorporating ipads with the educational system Osmo this year. The small group tutoring will begin on Tuesday June 21st and Friday June 24th from 9:30-10:30 am and continue until August 26, 2016. Your child may attend both sessions each week. If you are interested in signing up for this exciting program, please return this enrollment form to Elkhart Library by June 18, 2016.
